Summer on the farm

So we're halfway done with first crop hay. The weather won't cooperate with us. It just keeps raining. Bothersome. My birthday is tomorrow though, and since its rainy and wet i won't have to work a long day on my birthday(ever since i can remember my birthday has usually been surrounded by work.)

Anyways, here is a pic from tonight.

Haven't been on here in forever. You could say i failed at bloggeringsgja;slkdgj. Anyways, the other day i went and screwed around with nick and matt hooper. we did some skateboarding. ate food. went to the theaters and watched "state of play". It was pretty good but hooper wouldn't stop complaining because he wanted to see "i love you, man".

We're so ghey.

Snowboarding today with friends. so much fun. lots of snow. i'm sooooooo glad we're finally getting snow.

The New Age.

Yesterday we got an 42" LCD tv. so awesome. I just got off the phone with directv and they're headed out tomorrow to set me up with sports, sports, and more sports. They'll probably come after the BYU game, but at least i'll gave it for the few remaining games and the entire Utah Jazz season.

Adam's Canyon

Hiked Adam's Canyon today. Went by myself. It was nice. Nice fall colors and crisp fall air. You have to cross the stream at the very end right next to the waterfall. The rocks always have a wet look to them but today was different. They still looked wet, but they were icy! Needless to say, i didn't figure that out until I had already fallen in.

Snow.

This is what i woke up to on sunday morning(oct 12). probably 6 inches of snow fell between 3 and 8 am. There was nothing on the ground when i went to bed at 3. Awesome.

Wrist Surgery

My wrist is finally 100% healed. I broke it snowboarding sometime in march. I just thought it was sprained for about a month and a half. When i finally went to the doctor they initially didn't see the fracture. They called me back a week later and said it was broken. May 9th i got a cast. Removed June 9th. Had not healed at all. So they opted to do surgery. Was in a soft cast for another month after surgery and then another hard cast for one more month. The last 9 weeks i've been cast free and just wearing a brace. Its finally 100% healed but not even close to 100% movement. Not sure whether or not to do physical therapy because the surgeon said studies have shown you get the same movement back in a year with or without therapy. Therapy just speeds up the process. At any rate, I'm healed up for the coming season.
